You may find the answer at this US Gov report, aristocratic: “Outlook for Civil Engineers 2008-2009″ http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos027.htm

Overall job opportunities in civil commerce are probable to be excellent, but will vary by specialty. I suggest that you will research the specialty that have quicker than the average growth, and follow-up with continuing education classes to become more competitive. Better be pro-active rather than re-active and wait for a layoff to happen to you.

I also found this website that helps other working professionals to read employee company reviews, and write an anonymous review of your own. If you want to help, please go to: http://www.LinkedNow.com
