Civil (structural) Engineering Job Market in Massachusetts?
I work as a civil/structural engineer (access level) for a power plant (fossil). My company has been laying off lot of people lately. I just wanted to know how the civil commerce promote is doing. Any help/suggestion will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Overall job opportunities in civil commerce are probable to be excellent, but will vary by specialty. I suggest that you will research the specialty that have quicker than the average growth, and follow-up with continuing education classes to become more competitive. Better be pro-active rather than re-active and wait for a layoff to happen to you.
