Your education is a excellent background. You might need some training on actuarial science and programming of computers.
By definition, hedge assets are private investment partnerships that invest primarily in public securities and financial derivatives.
The term “hedge” implies that fund manages take a long position, or buy, securities the hedge fund manager believes are heading up. At the same time, they go small, or sell, securities they believe are poised to drop in regard.
Such a strategy of arbitrage is designed to position hedge assets to profit in both up and down markets.
Your best bet would be banks, investment companies and security brokers. I hope this helps you.
Peace and blessings!
