Job-hunting tips for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer?
With manufacturing activity in the U. S. at a 25-year low, what advice could you give me to find an access-level commerce job. I graduated in May with a B. S. M. E. and am having a frustrating time even with help from Career Services at my college. Also, should I pay to upgrade my resume status on websites like Monster and resume dispersal websites?

I have been in the job promote twice in recent months. At first, I went on ALL the job websites, but then I realized that there was a lot of overlap, and I was manslaughter time.
Go to http://www.indeed.com
That site searches lots of job search websites including monster.
Also, it will remember your previous searches without requiring an account. So you can get on each day, check out only the postings since you tartan it last (they will be at the top).
Also, type out “Engineer”, not “Mechanical Engineer” because some things like process commerce allow all types of engineers.
Do not be worried to give it a broad search area. I had to go 6 hours away for my current job, and it was worth it.
I probably would not pay to upload a resume.
Remember that 90% of all jobs are gotten through connections. Make use of every one you’ve got.
Excellent luck, and keep your head up.
