Will the CCNA cert get me an entry level networking job?

I am in the Middle of my working life and have about ten years of telecom experience commerce the install of network and telephone equipment for Verizon. Will the CCNA get me in the door to a networking career? Thanks!

yes it will even doing network+ from compita will help you get the foot in the door since doing ccna/ccnp etc are for professional network engs working with cisco hardware, also doing a MCSA will help.
since this deals with windows 2003/8 ma?tre d’h?tel.

Yes it will help. Here’s a tip: get EVERY possible certification that you can get. Most people carry many certifications as it shows you are more well rounded. MCSA is also a excellent choice. Any and all Cisco certs will be excellent as well as the basic Linux certifications, too. There will always be jobs open, BUT many people are becoming more experienced so you have to have a one-up.
