Does anyone know of any good places for mechanical engineers to find an entry-level job? Lives in Ohio, and would prefer somewhere in the Eastern US, but willing to relocate. Any ideas??Note: It is not for me. I am helping a friend get ideas for where to apply.

I need some advice. I graduated in May from a school that has a very good aerospace curriculum, and it is now almost October and I am still without a job. I've applied to over 200 jobs through indeed, careerbuilder, monster, careershift, aeroindustryjobs and other than one intern interview when i was still in school I've had no real interviews only 2 screenings by recruiters. I am not sure what I am doing wrong here. Engineers, how did you find your first job. I will probably be accepting an entry level job offer as a computer engineer at a government agency. I have interned there for two full summers and one winter break (about 8 months total). By interning I have a really good feel for how things work and would be able to start working with little/no training time. I know that a sign on bonus is a possibility and all that is left is to negotiate it. Does anyone have any advice - preferably from first hand experience or other employees - on what a reasonable sign-on bonus for someone with 8 full months interning at the same agency would be?
